Maybe I'm just misunderstanding how to save settings to onboard memory in the new versions of the software. Tldr When I first bought it and plugged it into Linux, I got default backlighting, but now that I booted into Windows and ran G Hub, when I boot into Linux all backlighting is turned off. So, whatever G Hub did in Windows actually made it less functional in Linux than when I bought it. The backlights are off and the "lighting" button on the keyboard does nothing. purchasing a Logitech Litra Glow I was unable to find any support for linux. Sadly, when I rebooted into Linux, not only did the new backlighting settings I set in Windows not carry over, but it's not even doing the default backlighting anymore. Then I went into Windows and thought, great, since I can install G Hub here I can configure the backlighting in Windows and maybe that will carry over into Linux through the on-device memory. I was using a G213 and G502 with Linux without G Hub and so I just got the default backlighting. If you could also tell the team: Not only is the software not available for Linux but it seems to break Linux. Unfortunately, there is no G Hub yet for Linux, however, there is a similar application for Linux called 'piper' that you can install by using your terminal and typing 'Sudo apt install piper' and confirming.
